Dear Marshall,
Maureen and
I would like to tell you how absolutely thrilled we are with the
house. This is by far the biggest undertaking we have done together,
and we were anticipating a stressful process, but you, Larry, Sylvia
and Bob made it a fun, pleasurable experience.
We have had
a steady stream of people come by the house during the past 6 months,
friends, as well as people who were watching it being built. We've
even had other builders come by, asking to see it. Everyone who
has come by has stated that they are impressed, not only by the
house, but also by the quality of the construction, the reputation
of your company and the subcontractors you have used.
We are constantly
asked 3 questions:
Are you happy
with the house?
How was the
experience working with Marshall Bone, and what kinds of problems
did you have?
Would you use
him again?
To each of these,
we give the same answers:
The house turned
out better than we ever expected, and we expected a lot. Then, when
they walk through the house, they understand what we mean.
"Working
with Marshall Bone was as problem free as we could have ever imagined.
We didn't have problems. Marshall, Larry and Bob were on top of
the job every step of the way.
We would have
Marshall build us another house in a heartbeat.
If any prospective
customers ever have questions, or would like to see the type of
work that you do, please point them in our direction.
Sincerely,
Warren Whitehead and Maureen Harland |

Dear Marshall,
We've been in
our new home for 9 months and not a day goes by that we don't appreciate
it's quality and comfort.
You, Larry,
Bob and Sylvia are the team that worked together to make this the
finest experience we could have hoped for. Everyone told us before
we started this process that it might end our marriage! The horror
stories about having your own home built are well known.
Our experience
could not have been better. The positive attitude, attention to
details, and the ability to resolve issues to everyone's satisfaction
were the difference.
Please do not
hesitate to use us as a recommendation. As in the past, we continue
to be ready and willing to talk to your new clients about our experiences.
Warmest Regards,
Jon and Debbie

Dear
Marshall,
Almost
a year has elapsed since we completed the expansion of our Chamber
building, and we are finally "settling in".
We
continue to enjoy the many compliments on the buildings appearance,
of course, but those of us on the Chamber staff particularly appreciate
the additional space and the excellent job your company and the
subcontractors did in constructing the building. It has been well-tested
by Florida's summer rains with no roof problems whatsoever; the
meeting room has been used constantly (even before it was finished)
and has proven to be an excellent facility for our needs; and the
Welcome Center is not only impressive looking, but also quite functional.
A
few things have surprised us. For example, the cost of heating and
cooling the building, now more than twice the original size, has
increased very little. Having three separate heat and cool systems
along with your idea of building over the old building, resulting
in a roof over a roof, has given us a very efficient system. And
your assistance has we made other "adjustments" to our
plans was invaluable, saving hard-to-come-by dollars while preserving
the original intent of our architects.
We
all had our patience strained a bit as the project went on, what
with our staff having to work in the building while construction
went on about us. Your people were very considerate and helpful,
making the best of what could have been a bad situation. Finally,
Marshall B. Bone, Inc's. donation of your services, along with many
other contributions by area businesses, helped us create a showplace
at an unbelievably low cost. We sincerely appreciate all you have
done for the Chamber and thank you for helping us build for the
future of our association and the DeLand community.
Best
regards,
Dahlon G. Ritchey

To
Whom It May Concern:
I
am pleased to recommend Marshall B. Bone Construction Company as
a high quality commercial contractor in Volusia County. We have
had the pleasure of working with Mr. Bone on numerous projects,
both as a lender and as a customer. Our experience has been that
he conducts business in a highly satisfactory manner, completing
projects timely and with his personal attention.
Our
SouthTrust Drive-Thru Teller building located at 100 East New York

workmanship.
I

Dear
Marshall:
Just
a note to let you know how pleased we are with the Victoria Square
6 Theatres project. Even after two years we still have customers
and other exhibitors tell us how much they like our complex. The
fact that our building was the last building started, and yet we
were the first business open in the shopping center is a tribute
to your company's competence and to the advantages of metal building
technology.
Your
entire staff made the construction of our theatre extremely easy
for us. Brenda, Lloyd, and Larry were always willing to help solve
whatever problem we presented to them. Buddy's research of sound
transmission and his input during the design has created a building
which has exceeded our expectations. Ray's patience with us each
day and his ability to coordinate our installation during the final
days helped us meet our very important opening date. Your help with
the city and the developer was crucial to our ability to get the
project started.
If
we ever have the opportunity to build another theatre, we will certainly
go with another metal building shell. The cost savings of a metal
building verses conventional construction was the determining factor
when it came to the feasibility of doing this project.
Thanks
again for a job well done. We hope we will have the chance to work
with you again in the future.
Best
regards:

Dear
Marshall:
On
behalf of the Manheim Auctions division of Cox Enterprises our compliments
and thanks to you for the outstanding job you did as the General
Contractor for our New Daytona Auto Dealers Exchange facility in
Daytona Beach, Florida. You and all of your subcontractors worked
on the facility with a sense of pride we rarely, if ever, see on
a construction project.
As
we discussed, we may be seeking your assistance and advice on future
construction projects in our division.

Dear
Marshall:
We
would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks
for everything you did to get our new Daytona Beach facility completed
in time for our first sale on April 14. To show our appreciation
for the excellent job you have performed for us, I have enclosed
a check in the amount of $10,000.
We
are well aware that you had to pull out "all of the stops"
to get the job done, to include exhorting your people to work a
lot of overtime. Personally speaking, I have never seen anyone get
the amount of work done that you and your people accomplished in
that final week.
We
appreciate all of the peripheral and coordinating tasks you helped
us with, thus ensuring our being able to open on time. We also appreciate
the consulting assistance you have been giving us, separate from
the Daytona project.
Thanks
again for "going that extra mile". We look forward to
continuing our work together.

Dear
Ms. Davis:
I
am attaching herewith the signed and completed General Status Inquiry
form I received from you in April.
It
has now been sixty days since we received our Certificate of Occupancy
from Volusia County and accepted the facility from Marshall B. Bone,
Inc.
I
have now completed my file on this project and am happy to report
that this job has come through with "flying colors". In
spite of the fact that over $141,000.00 in additional work was added
to the original contract, construction was completed in record time.
We
currently have many projects underway in both the U.S. and Canada.
Frankly, none of them come close to the performance we received
from Bone on this job. Every aspect of the project, from the housekeeping
during all phases to the final details, was handled in a highly
professional manner.
Our
corporate officers were so impressed with the performance of the
Bone construction efforts that he was awarded a $10,000.00 bonus.
A tribute to a job well done! I am attaching copies of letters from
two of our officers that you may find interesting.
If
we can be of future help to you in regard to the Marshall B. Bone
Inc. company, do not hesitate to call on me.
Very
truly yours,

I
would like to take this opportunity to extend my appreciation to
you and your staff for the fine job which you did on our recently
completed reconditioning facility.
As
in the past when you built our auto auction facility, the quality
of the finished product and the attention to detail was superb.
Everyone on the job, from your own employees to your subcontractors,
was always very courteous, cooperative, and helpful.
Marshall,
you have now completed two projects for us and I fully expect to
use your services when we expand our auction building in the near
future. If you ever would need to use my name as a reference with
a prospective client, do not hesitate to do so.
Again,
thanks for the fine job.

Dear
Marshall,
Now
that the smoke has cleared, I wanted to take this minute to thank
you for a job well done on the new hangar for Martin Marietta.
Your
knowledge of the labyrinth to the South (GOAA) served us well as
the project came to fruition. The new occupants are quite happy
with the fixtures and the "bugs" have pretty much been
worked out. I still think that our suspicions about the storm drainage
that GOAA planned for us will spell trouble in the future.
Marshall,
as I said at the beginning of this venture, it might seem strange
to some that I hired a contractor that owns a piece of my competition
on the airport. I hired you though, because I thought then and still
feel that you are the best equipped to deliver a good hangar at
the best price.
Thanks
again. Let's hope that hangar demand will allow us to do this again
soon.

Dear
Marshall,
I
am writing this letter to personally thank you and your company
for the outstanding job performed for The Relative Workshop. The
idea of building a new manufacturing and office complex for my company
was troubling to say the least. Considering the many complexities
involved in dealing with the multitude of contractors, banking,
governmental and environmental agencies (both major and minor),
was completely out of my realm.
After
meeting with several certified general contractors, I was very impressed
with the knowledge and confidence you displayed. Your knowledge
and confidence, combined with a very competitive bid proposal, indicated
that you were the company that I wanted to contract. Throughout
the construction, you made every effort to answer all questions,
and work in all design changes that I needed. All phases of construction
flowed smoothly, and you were able to finish construction within
the allotted time frame, enabling us to move in as planned. Minor
problems occurring after occupancy were attended to quickly and
efficiently.
Again,
thank you. If you or your contractors need references, please feel
free to contact myself or my general manager, Mr. Overbey. We will
help in any way possible.
Sincerely,

To
Whom It May Concern:
We
have had the opportunity to use Marshall Bone Construction on two
separate occasions; building a metal office and warehouse facilities,
as well as extensive re-modeling of an existing restaurant.
We
have always found him to be hard-working and honest. Marshall has
a non-negative attitude in solving problems. He takes his creativity
and solves the problems, whatever they may be. One of his most outstanding
qualities is that he is there during the construction and knows
what is going on. Even after the project is completed, he makes
himself available for any questions or problems the customer may
have. It is a pleasure doing business with him.

sincerely,
