Marshall
B. Bone, Inc. was started in Orlando in 1970 by Marshall B. Bone,
Sr., as a Real Estate Company. In 1975, Marshall B. Bone, Jr.
joined the company and started building homes and ultimately converted
to commercial construction in the early eighties. He moved his
family and the company to DeLand in 1988 and the company continues
to build throughout Central Florida.
After
receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction
from the University of Florida in 1967, the next five and one
half years were spent as a pilot in the United States Air Force.
Beginning in 1973 Mr. Bone worked in the home building industry
and for a commercial contractor. This and his degree in Building
Construction proved to be a good foundation for the company's
thirty years in the construction field. During this period the
company has constructed several hundred residential units and
numerous commercial projects. This construction has varied from
small tenant improvements to professional offices, condominiums,
churches, banks, automobile dealerships, movie theaters and manufacturing
facilities.
